I am Karen Ezell, a native Texan from San Antonio. I graduated from Galveston College in 1979 as a professional; in Respiratory Therapy. I majored in Allied Health with emphasis as a Respiratory Therapy, Assistant and trained at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. In 1985, I graduated from the Respiratory Therapy Program at St. Phillips College in San Antonio, Texas; which led to the recognition from the National Board for Respiratory Care as a Certified Respiratory Therapist. I furthered my education, in 1996, at Wayland Baptist University in San Antonio, earning an AAS in Respiratory Therapy and a BSOE in Occupational Education. In 2002, I obtained a MS in Quality Systems Management from the National Graduate School. Next, I furthered my education by obtaining a Polysomnography Graduate Certificate from Texas State University in 2009. Ultimately, after 38 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, I decided to pursue a Doctoral degree in Information Systems & Enterprise Resource Management in 2015, from California Intercontinental University.
